IOU Creation Centre and Breaking Barriers are excited to present, ‘This Landscape is Ours,’ an extraordinary audio-visual night walk in Halifax.
This event will celebrate and spotlight the cherished, forgotten and remembered places that hold significance for you. From lost architecture and hidden spots to grand vistas, libraries, dancehalls, and forgotten shops – or is it a place where the sun sets perfectly or rises unnoticed beyond the hills – we want to remap this landscape with your stories.

How You Can Get Involved
We are seeking participants willing to have a casual conversation about places and spaces in Calderdale that hold special memories for you. Whether you were born and bred here, live or work in the area, or have recently moved to Calderdale, we want to hear from you. Your stories will form the soundscape for our guided walk, allowing audiences to eavesdrop on all the ways this landscape is yours.
