A vibrant show suitable for all ages.

Autoperipateikos was a flexible outdoor touring show. Inspired by wind-up toys, the full-size mechanical horse pulled a box cart full of mechanical musical instruments, followed by a retinue of wheeled characters.

When the horse stopped, the characters began their whirring dance – a cross between a fox-trot and fairground bumper cars. Bits of the device then dropped off revealing the gears and spring, which drove it. Following behind the horse, a red seven-foot high pig moved alongside the kilted curators in the travelling performance.

A woman is playing the acordian, the image is black and white.
