First performed in July 1990, Full Tilt was a touring show which visited outdoor events throughout the summers of 1990, 1991 and 1992. As the actors paraded, live music played from a royal vehicle – a wealth of sounds from a multitude of acoustic instruments and mechanical inventions. In the tiltyard below, two combatants were made ready for a dramatic and curious battle dance.
