Kinetic Sculpture Masterclass - Exhibition

Photographic exhibition of works created during the masterclass with Jim Bond

Sculptor Jim Bond, a regular collaborator with IOU, hosted a Masterclass at the IOU Studio, Dean Clough in July 2022

Participants travelled from around the country to join the Masterclass, and arrived with varied levels of experience across a range of making skills, from stained-glass to ceramics. Over the day they learned basic metal working skills including welding, riveting, soldering and angle-grinding and worked with Jim and the IOU team to design and create their own unique, mechanical-artwork powered by an electric motor.

The exhibition is photographs of the participants and their work produced during the workshop.
